Mary Terez Carter, LCSW is a Wisconsin native, mother of three sons and two step-sons. She has a BA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in Interpersonal Communications and a Masters in Social Work from Western Michigan University. She is licensed in the state of Tennessee as a clinical social worker. Terez is fluent in Spanish, French and Italian. She served in Chad, Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer where she taught English as a foreign language. Terez counseled at Arbor Circle in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Christ Community Health Services in Memphis, Tennessee. Terez uses a person centered approach with an empathic and comfortable style that will put you at ease so you can get the most out of therapy. Her therapeutic approach is a blend of psycho-dynamic and cognitive behavioral techniques. Terez is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
